DIVEMASTER: The PADI / Ocean Explorers Divemaster program could be one of the most satisfying courses you may ever take. We provide one of the most comprehensive programs available where you will develop the leadership, dive safety and control skills plus the dive theory and First Aid knowledge necessary to become a diving professional. If you have an interest in being a dive leader rather than a follower you MUST enroll in this program. The Ocean Explorers Divemaster course is an internship program. You will assist our Instructors in all phases of teaching our recreational classes. Prerequisites include being 18 years of age, have at least 20 logged dives and the PADI Rescue Diver rating. Upon course completion you will be a member of PADI, the largest diver training organization in the world, and will enjoy many exciting career opportunities. This course is a prerequisite for the PADI Assistant Instructor or Instructor Development course. ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR:
This program will show you the techniques used to put together lesson plans and become more comfortable with using the complete PADI educational system.
Assistant Instructor candidates will actually give class
presentations to at least one PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Rescue course and will provide the basis for being able to provide relaxed presentations in the
future. As a PADI Assistant Instructor you will enjoy even more career opportunities than a Divemaster including teaching the Peak Performance Buoyancy and Project
AWARE specialties. With a little additional training you may become a PADI
Emergency First Response Instructor and a PADI Specialty Instructor for non-diving specialties.
This is also an excellent course for anyone with the ambition to become a PADI Instructor.
